We knew it would be a different Ramadan. Alhamdulillah, we made it through.
As we bid farewell to Ramadan, Muslims around the world prepare to celebrate Eid, albeit in isolation. We also look towards the Hajj, the second most significant event in our Muslim calendar.
As we remain in the dark about the future of Hajj this year and remain saddened at the deserted images of our blessed Makkah and Madinah, some of us are probably thinking “Subhan Allah, I never made the intention to visit, and now I cannot even visit even if I wanted to”. Well, if that’s you, you’ll be pleased to know that Allah’s mercy expands far beyond your past omissions, you still have time, you can still make the intention to #RespondToTheCall of Prophet Ibrahim, peace be upon him.
Missing the Haramain?
Scroll down for some Eid images that combine the feeling of missing the Haramain whilst celebrating Eid!
The feeling of seeing the majestic doors of the Kabah for the first time.
Or praying the Asr salah in the courtyard of Masjid-un Nabawi.
Seeing the umbrellas of Madinah open after Fajr Salah,
Or witnessing the hustle and bustle of the Madinan city after Friday Jumuah prayers.
Noticing the intricate domes that open and close inside the Masjid in Madinah,
and sitting outside the prophets mosque glancing at his resting place.
Walking towards the masjid whilst making dhikr,
heading down to the courtyard (or maybe food court) from the rooftop of Masjid-ul-Haram.
seeing the Kabah being stitched by the Haramain heroes.
Make your pledge below, get the rewards of making intention, and begin your first steps towards your Pilgrimage.
